Description:
This is a model 71 Deluxe Rifle in 348 cal. is in excellent condition. The serial number (11061) gives a manufacturing date or 1937. The 24" barrell has a clean bore with no pitting or corrosion. Equipted with an insert front ramp sight and a bolt peep sight, the barrel and receliver show only a few very light corrosion marks on the deeply blued metal surfaces. These marks are smooth (no surface pitting) and show mostly as light discoloration to small areas of the blued surfaces.
An original diamond checkered steel but plate and factory installed swivel mounts accent an almost unmarked walnut pistol grip stock and forearm that are nicely checkered in a fine double boardered diamond pattern.
