Description:
Offered is a customized Enfield 1917 30.06 made by Remington. It has a sporter stock with cheek piece and sling swivels. This rifle has a unique peep sight mounted on it. I believe it is a vintage Series 70 Hunter which goes for over $100 on eBay. The rifle has some very minor handling marks in the stock and a very light discorloration on the finish on the barrel. The barrel is either parkerized or matt finish – I am not sure which. This rifle is in excellent shape with no rust, gouges, or pits of any kind. It has “U.S. Model of 1917 Remington” on the top of the receiver and a flaming ordnance bomb on the left side of the receiver. The bore is excellent and the rifle has been hardly used. I know it has been in the family for over 50 years; it was well taken care of but in the safe and not fired for the last 40 years. I need to clear the safe for those rifles I do shoot.
