This is an authentic 1911 AH Fox B Grade 12 gauge shotgun. This is a collectors grade gun, being in absolutley perfect condition. This gun has the early Fox engraving style; much rarer than the deep relief engraving done on later Fox guns. This gun is from the "Golden Age of Fox" time period when AH Fox himself still owned the The Fox Shotgun Company and inspected every gun produced. This gun was in the collection of a Fox shotgun collector from North Carolina for about 20 years before I acquired the gun about 5 years ago. It was restored to factory condition sometime in the early 1980's and has not been fired since its restoration. The pictures included really do not do this gun justice, it is absolutley beautiful and it will be the centerpiece of any Fox or Classic American shotgun collection. It is 100% mechanically sound, and would be a joy to use in the field as well. It can be easily be brought to current dimensions by adding a recoil pad to the stock.
