Description:
This is a Model 1917 Eddystone Rifle caliber 30/06. The barrel date is 5-18. The bore is bright with strong lands and grooves with light frosting. The only real apology on this gun is a minor one in that someone cleaned the bolt as can be seen in our photos. All appropriate Cartouches are present on the stock plus what appears to be a rack number 28 on the end of the forend just above the bayonet lug. The great example of the Eddystone rifle includes a appropriate but modern 1 1/4" military sling.
