Description:
This is a Winchester Model 70 Ultimate Calssic rifle from the Winchester Custom Shop in .30-06 Springfield. It has the letter from the Custom Shop dated June 3, 1999. It specifies a 24 inch Match grade, cut rifled Chrome-moly steel fluted round barrel, High Lustre blue, Fancy American walnut- satin polyester finish-"Classic" style stock with a rosewood tip and pistol grip cap and Standard Model 70 point pattern checkering. It has a hand honed action-hand engine turned bolt, follower, extractor- and extractor ring-Wolff firing pin spring-steel trigger guard and magazine cover- controlled feed extraction-cross bolt- unknurled bolt handle-Special Custom Shop Proof Stamp-scope base and rings-detachable sling swivel bases. Condition is Excellent with a shiny bore. This rifle is equipped with a Leupold VX-2 3-9x40 scope that is included in the price of the rifle. The scope will not be removed and the rifle repriced without it.
