Description:
For your consideration you are offered a Cooper Model 54 Excalibur rifle chambered for the 308 Winchester cartridge. This rifle was purchased new from First Stop Guns of Rapid City, SD in 2012. The rifle is equipped with Leupold scope bases and rings. The scope bases have been mounted on the rifle. The barrel is fluted stainless steel 22 inches in length. Accompanying the rifle are the original test target, 3 round stainless magazine, instruction manual, and Cooper decal. The rifle remains in near new condition in its original box and external shipping carton. As received from the distributor, the trigger had excessive creep. With the factory engineers permission the trigger sear engagement and safety were adjusted by a professional gunsmith. The rifle now has a light crisp pull. This rifle has fired approximately 60 rounds of Federal 168 grain Gold Metal Match cartridges. The rifle without mounted scope weighs six and one-half pounds. The stock is made of composite in olive green color with black speckled finish. I am selling the rifle for reasons of health.
