Description:
Featuring a raised carved Mexican Eagle with a snake in it's mouth on the grips. The engraving would be considered "New York style" engraving. Beautifully done. Gun is in fine shape with about 75% orig silver as well as about 90% orig gold on the cylinder, ramrod and hammer. All matching numbers. Mechanics are excellent+. Case has a repaired crack in the lid which is solid. Looks like the inside may have been relined at some point and shows some wear. Accoutrements include a 250 tin of Ely percussion caps, nice silver plated flask and double bullet mold. Overall gun is in excellent condition with nice fitting Ivory grips.
