Winchester Model 70 Classic SM Custom in .338 Win Mag
Offering this Winchester Model 70 Classic SM in .338 Win Mag bearing serial # G138560. Please read completely for an itemized list of the work done on this rifle. The rifle is pillar and glass bedded in a McMillan “Fibergrain” synthetic stock by Carolina Precision Rifles. It was also fitted with an EAW Masterpiece adjustable rear sight and then mated to the NECG masterpiece banded front sight with window style hood. A Williams follower was installed to prevent the follower from tilting or hanging and insures positive cartridge feeding. Warne steel scope ring bases. Pachmayer Decelerator recoil pad. A Weatherprotective finish was applied as well and of course the previous owner used Renaissance wax to further protect his investment. Barrel is 23 ½ inches and the bore is perfect. This is a sub MOA gun. Just over $1900.00 invested in this rifle and build up. Health and age has motivated the sale of this pet rifle.
