Description:
Parker Bros. 12 gauge VH grade.Built in 1907 according to the factory letter,this gun has 28" vulcan steel barrels choked skeet (.006") and full (.040") with 23/4" chambers.I believe the chokes are original as both chokes are over 21/2" long.The gun is in great all original condition,retaining over 60% of the original case color,95% of the original barrel blue,and 99% of the original wood finish.The wood is sound with no cracks or damage.The stock is 14" over the original dog's head buttplate with the early style widow's peak. The gun is built on a #2 frame and weighs 7-10.All of the screws are in perfect condition and are still in time.I do not see any indication that there has ever been a screwdriver used on this gun.There are a few tarnished spots on the receiver due to poor storage at some time.The gun is in remarkable conditon for 110 years old.C&R eligible.
