Description:
This was made by Forehand & Wadsworth and is a late First Model with the grip but has the Bull Dog face Trade Mark on the left side and the Hyphenated Bull-Dog on the top strap. The serial number is 1039. The mechanical function is very good crisp and tight. The bore is bright and shiny with strong rifling but has some fine corrosion spots. It retains over 92% original nickel finish. The left barrel side has a few small nicks on it and the right grip at the palm area has a ting crack about 3/8” or 7/16” but is not loose.
