Rare and beautiful. This has to be the nicest uncut MK VI that I have ever seen. In addition, it is a totally correct Navy issue. The top strap has the greatly enlarged "British Broad Arrow" and the correct "N" stamp on the frame behind the hammer.
The condition is super retaining about 98+% of the wartime finish. There is just the very slightest sharp edge silvering and a few tiny scattered nicks, also on the edges. There are no pits, scratches, rust or rub marks anywhere. The grips strap don't even have a trace of graying.
The frame, cylinder and barrel group all match.
The black plastic grips, except for some tiny scratches or nicks at the edges, are great. No chips, splits or flattened points.
The gun locks up tight and indexes properly. The recoil shield, chambers and force cone show very little wear. The barrel is mirror bright with razor sharp rifling. It, like the rest of the gun is just super.
The lanyard ring still has what we believe is the original Navy brass rack number tag.
What a find for the serious shooter or military firearms collector.....$2295.
