This is an AMAZING find. This is a ONE OWNER...pre 64 Winchester Model 70 Super Grade chambered in .300 H&H. The barrel is 26 inches long with a great bore. The serial number is 427293 which dates production to 1958. The owner of this rifle used it to hunt when he first owned it, but hasn't shot it in over 50 years. This is a SUPER GRADE with a deluxe stock...lots of nice color and detail in the wood, NO cracks, a few surface imperfections. The factory checkering is in perfect condition. This could easily be brought to near new condition. The metal is in fantastic shape...no scratches, no screws turned! It even has the original front site hood Sling Swivels. The bolt IS matching and has the same serial number. It includes period correct scope rings and bases holding a Bausch and Lomb 3-9x40 scope with fine duplex reticle.
