Description:
A very nice engraved L0ndon Colt '49 Pocket revolver, 6"x.31 caliber. SN 2070 all matching including arbor pin and wedge. The gun is also equipped with pearl grips which fit perfectly. There are British proof marks on the frame left side nearn the wedge. The entire gun was blued and much remains, though getting a little weaker.The cylinder scene is all present but a bit obscured by some dings on the cylinder and also on the barrel. It looks like the gun was used to wrap/unwrap barbed wire, or something like it. Also the front sight is incorrect, and resembles a smll blade instead of the original post type sight. Bore is fine and the action tight. It indexes well. A very nice London pocket that has seen a bit of damage, but still is a quality piece.REDUCED!!!
