Description:
Cal 45-70. 24" half octagon bbl, blade front sight and folding ladder rear sight. This is the rare Keene magazine sporting rifle with the checkered round knob pistol grip stock, sporting forend cap and part oct bbl. Metal is a smooth gray patina with traces of blue in the protected areas. Wood is in good condition with just a hairline crack on each side of the upper tang. Several pressure dents/dings. Re-cut checkering is crisp. Mechanics are good. Bright shiny bore.
