Bad - Ischl: A Classic Engraved Springer Sporting Bolt Rifle with a Mauser Action in 7 x 64 with a 24" Bohler steel barrel, Made in 1938, Proofed both in Austria and London, Solid left receiver wall on the Mauser action, A 1/4 rib with 1 standing rear sight, Barrel sling swivel, Ramp front, Original claw mounts on the receiver bridge and receiver ring, 1/4 rib and front ramp is matted, Set up with the original Kahles 4x60 scope with Springer's name engraved on the steel tube, Extended tang welded to the receiver tang with a tang safety, Double set triggers, A magazine box with a shotgun steel trigger guard, 20% coverage of period engraving, Point pattern checkering, Shadowline cheekpiece, 14 1/8" LOP over a 7/8" Silvers pad, 7 lbs. 4 oz. without the scope and 8 lbs. 5 oz. with the scope, The bolt handle is engraved and the knob checkered, The bolt handle is engraved and the knob checkered, A nice piece of wood with nice color and contrast with dark browns and black, The original blue on this gun remains at 94-95%, The wood remains at 92%, The checkering is at 96%, The bore is excellent plus.
