Description:
SOLD. Here is an interesting K80 of some historical significance to the Krieghoff aficionado. This K80 is the first ever engraved in the Danube pattern (see Krieghoff letter). The condition of this gun is well above average in all respects - even down to the surviving canvas cover on the original leather case. #11832 is engraved in the early "Big O" Danube pattern and was built as a factory 4-barrel skeet set. It is unaltered in any way. We can only find one tiny mark on the French (or, you can call it Turkish) forearm wood. The nickel finish on the receiver and iron show no wear and the barrel bluing is very nice except for some nicks from less than meticulous installation of the forearm iron - which are hidden when assembled. This is a beautiful and interesting Krieghoff with plenty of "bling".
