Description:
This is a Savage model 99 chambered in .308 WIN. The Model 99 is a lever action rifle with an internal rotary magazine. This allows the use of spitzer bullets normally unsafe for lever-actions. The lever is beautifully color cased, the rest of the rifle is blued. The wood stock is checkered at the wrist and forend, and is in good condition. The stock has sling swivel studs already installed. While there is a front sight and a folding rear sight on the barrel, a Tasco 3-9x32 scope is mounted on the receiver. The bore is in good condition and the internals are clean. The barrel length is 22”, the length of pull is 14”, and the overall length is 42”. Our stock number is #A237.
