This listing consists of a Bushnell 4200 6x24 rifle scope. This scope is a highly recommended quality optic. The scope was made in Japan by the Light Optical Works factory. This scope has been mounted on a rifle and remains in excellent condition. The only obvious marks on the scope is some loss of bluing on the power adjusting ring. These are visible in the photo showing the manufacturers specifications. Very close inspection may reveal where the scope rings were attached but are barely noticeable. Optically the scope is in excellent condition. All movable items operate as intended. The reticle of the scope is a VERY fine crosswire with a one-fourth minute of angle dot at the wire intersection. This reticle was designed for taking deliberate shots at varmints or targets. It would be less useful for low light conditions or running game. Photo number 8 on the eye piece end of the scope appears to have a crack or split at the end of the scope eye piece. This is not a defect but is the seam where the manufacturer joined the ends of the thin rubber eye piece cushioning ring. The scope is offered for sale at $400 with free shipping.
