Walnut stock with horn forend tip, wrap-around point-pattern checkering, recoil crossbolt, steel pistol grip cap, beaded cheekpiece, vacant silver oval, rear swivel stud and checkered steel buttplate. Mauser action with hand-scraped bolt and jeweled follower, two-panel checkered bolt knob, Jantz-type safety, detachable floorplate, Lyman 48 receiver sight, and Lyman All-American 4x scope with fine crosshair reticle on G&H quick-detachable sidemount. Pull: 13 1/2". Weight: 8lbs, 5oz, scoped. Includes both Lyman 48 blanking slide and SuperGrade swivels. Built 1948. 98% blue and with an excellent bore. Extensive G&H archival research by Bob Beach.
