Fine floral scroll engraving in the Grand American pattern decorates the receiver, trigger guard, break lever, and forearm hardware. Both sides feature an oval panel with a gold inlaid relief hunting dog in a wooded scene. Gold inlaid relief scene of pheasants in a field adorn the bottom of the receiver along with a gold inlaid relief dog's head in a scallop bordered circle beautifully engraved on the trigger guard. The fences are engraved with an oak leaf and acorn design. Single trigger with gold selector button, tang mounted automatic safety with gold inlaid "SAFE".
The pistol grip stock and rare beavertail forearm are made of impressively grained, dark California walnut. Fabulous triple X Fluer-de-Lis checkering wraps around the grip and spills over to the stock and flats. The forearm features 90% coverage in the same beautiful pattern. A crystal clear, high gloss finish highlights all the quality craftsmanship.
This beautiful shotgun is presented in a brown leather takedown case featuring leather straps, handle, and green corduroy lining. The case is in good condition with a lovely patina. Factory letter accompanies the gun and verifies the factory configuration. The gun is as new condition, it appears to be unfired with only slight handling marks.
