Description:
Serial number is just under 48k which puts it in the pre-war type 1 category with the cloverleaf tang and the early swinging safety. Cal 30-06. Pretty good condition gun with most metal finish remaining. bore is vg+. There are some Bausch and Lomb bases still on the gun. These are the early style bases with the adjustment in the base and not on the scope. Wood is in relatively good condition. Shows some typical hunting use. We don't get a lot of these early model 70's in. This one is a pretty fair example.
