First year ( 1967 ) Ruger # 1 , still new in the original box, see the pictures, Caliber 243 Winchester, model 1B with 26 inch barrel. I bought the gun from the original owner back in the early 80's. I believe that the gun has only been factory test fired. The gun also comes with the early factory vertical Ruger rings. As you collectors know, the rings themselves sell for a small fortune anymore.
As you can see from the pictures the stock has good grain and quite a bit of color for the early Ruger # 1's.
This is a rare piece guys, I have been collecting Ruger # 1's it seems like for most of my adult life and have not come across a new in the box fiirst year gun.
