Pre war 16ga. boxlock extractor by Herman Eichorn and Son of Rostov Germany.This beautifully engraved gun has 30" Krupp steel barrels choked modified (.022") and full (.036") with 21/2" chambers.The scalloped receiver is fully game scene engraved with deep cut Germanic engraving.Other features include double triggers,extractors,cocking indicators,intercepting sears,Greener crossbolt lockup,Purdey double underbites,and sling swivels.The barrels lock up tight to the action with no play.The bores are clean and free of rust,dents,or pits.Another important feature is that the gun comes with full length Briley 28ga. insert tubes that allow the gun to be used as a 28ga.At 6-6 this is a lightweight all around upland bird gun.C&R eligible.
