This Irish Setter sword cane is a wonderful companion for a country gent.
This cane is also a trusty companion whether you are walking the streets of
Boston or the back alleys of Deadwood. The metal Nickel plated dog's head is
nicely detailed and the shaft is of sturdy tapered wood. It will support you if that is your need or defend you if need be. Because this cane comes with a hidden stainless steel blade. This is not the cheap and inconvenient screw off handle that you find on the novelty versions. All you need do is just pull to put it into service. There are any number of sword canes out there but the only one that was of the quality that I would offer on our site was this one. I think you will like it. The wooden shaft is natural-finished and is rubber tipped for a better grip.
Stands 37 1/2 in. tall. The blade is 25 1/2" unsharpened high carbon steel. The handle grip, has steel fittings.
