Description:
This is a near mint Savage Model 99 in Caliber 300 Savage. The gun is in absolutely beautiful condition with the sold exception that the former owner saw fit to very lightly scratch his Driver's License number at the action radius above the left action flat. 100% case colors remain on the lever as does blue on the rest of the gun. Original stock oil finish has not been redone. There is some light frosting on the bottom of the action from carry. The bore is bright with strong lands and grooves and the action has been mounted with a Redfield Bridgemount and rings. As a note there are 300 rounds available of new 300 Savage ammo for an additional $200.00 with gun purchase which is less than $13.50 a box, less then 1/2 of the best retail prices available.
