A H Fox, Philadelphia BE 12 gauge SxS Shotgun. Originally made around 1908 this gun was later very nicely upgraded to something equivalent to a CE/DE grade with a couple of gold inlays. Along with the engraving upgrade the gun was also restocked, tightened and refinished all to make this into a “pigeon” gun. Factory Krupp 32” solid rib barrels that have .728” bores, chokes of .015” Modified and .030” Full with nominal wall thicknesses of .035”. The new straight grip stock has a 14 ½” LOP over a 1” London Guns solid red rubber pad, 1 3/8” DAC, 2 ½” DAH and significant right hand cast of ½” at the heel and toe. The gun weighs 8 lbs. 1 oz. and balances nicely between the hands. There is a rather colorful inscription on the face of the barrels that can only be seen when the action is open (upon request I will send a photo of the actual inscription). Non automatic safety, double triggers, ejectors, mirror bores..fun gun. 98%+ since upgrading.
