Description:
Winchester Model 12, 12 gauge factory skeet. Very fine, original model12 skeet made in 1959 with factory optional “New Special Vent Rib” on the 26” barrel, choked WS-1 with red front bead and metal mid bead. The gun is fitted with very nicely grained checkered stock and forearm. The only noticeable fault to the metal bluing is the finish rub on the lower left side of the barrel near the breech where the forearm dragged. The wood has a few scratches in the finish and there is a mark on the bottom of the forearm where there used to be a Dynamo tape owner’s name (common for trap and skeet guns), but no wood damage and no cracks. Stock has a 14 1/8” LOP, factory butt plate, 1 ½” DAC, 2 ½” DAH and neutral cast. Mirror perfect bore. 7 lbs. 11 oz. Overall I will call this wonderful, original Model 12 skeet a 97% gun.
