Up for sale today is an immaculate US Rock Island M1903 serial no. 349717 chambered in caliber .30-06. This outstanding example of an M1903 has a barrel date of “HS 11-44” and a mint bore with a muzzle wear reading of 1.75. The rifle shows correct early Rock Island parts including a serrated trigger, high hump handguard, early buttplate and rides in an early Rock Island marked stock. The rifle shows correct rebuild markings which explain the later barrel date. Rifle comes with an original leather sling dated 1918. An outstanding example of a correct Rock Island M1903, a great addition to the collection of any discerning connoisseur and shooter.
