Up for sale today is a US Springfield Model 1898 Krag Carbine serial no. 117942 (1898) chambered in caliber .30-40 Krag. This excellent original rifle shows a late 1898 receiver date but is seated in a Model 1899 carbine stock. This rifle shows outstanding original finish on both metal and wood and has an excellent bore. An excellent piece of history and a great shooter as well.
