Description:
This is an original Remington Hepburn falling block rifle chambered in 45-70 Gov’t. It has a tapered octagonal barrel with a decent bore. The (re)blued finish is in good condition, but there is a scratch on the underside of the barrel. The (re)blued receiver is also in good condition. The hammer, lever, etc. have seen little wear. This rifle has an adjustable set trigger. The front sight is a tunnel sight and the rear is a folding tang sight. The rear sight is adjustable for elevation but not windage. The walnut furniture is in good condition, with only minor dings. The left side of the buttstock has an elevated cheek rest. A Pachmayr recoil pad has been added. The length of pull is 14”, the overall length is 43-½”, and the weight is 9.8 lbs. Our stock number is #A250. Will ship anywhere in the USA, buyer pays freight and insurance.
