Description:
This is a Marlin & Ballard falling block rifle chambered in 38-55. The 28” tapered octagonal barrel was made by John Danskin. The finish on the barrel is in great condition, as is the bore. Mounted on the barrel is a Winchester B5 scope with a standard crosshair. The action is an original Ballard action, with color casing on the receiver and lever. This rifle has an adjustable set trigger, with a finish in good condition. The P++ walnut furniture is in great condition. There is checkering at the wrist and forend and a raised cheek pad on the left side. The wood to metal fit is very good. The length of pull is 14”, the overall length is 45-¼”, and the weight is 12.8 lbs. Our stock number is #A252. Will ship anywhere in the USA, buyer pays freight and insurance.
