Description:
Remington model 722ADL in 244 Remington with a Williams adjustable one piece mount and Weaver K8 steel scope. The 722 ADL grade was offered in 244 Remington between 1955 and 1960 with only 399 produced making it very rare. The date code is January 1957. The finish is all original with the blue being very strong and the varnished wood being bright and strong, but, showing several small chips. The scope is clear and the 26" barrel is bright, strong, and ready to sight in with your favorite load to go hunting. This rifle would be a joy for either the collector or someone wanting to hunt with a nostalgic rifle.
*What looks like a long scratch in picture #8 is only light reflection in the bright finish.
