SPECIAL ORDER 1894 .25-35 CALIBER RIFLE WITH UNUSUAL HALF OCTAGON BARREL AND FULL MAGAZINE, MADE 1902, a nice example in really fine condition, this one retains fine deep barrel and mag blue that is lightly aged only and has a good look, receiver blue is fairly even overall that is again showing a little dulling from age only with light mixing of plum and has some edge wear, still retains some case color on the upper portions of the lever sides, fine+ wood shows some light handling marks only, flat top buckhorn rear sight with Marble No. 3 blade/bead front sight, exc. bore is only slightly dark, a scarce configuration that is actually TWO special order features as when a half oct. barrel was ordered from Winchester it was standard to supply a half magazine also unless specified for a full mag.
