For Best Results Always Call First! This is a model 36 in 38 Special with no change. This model with no change was produced between 1957 To 1966. The pistol's serial number is 640515. This "Smith shows very little use or being fired. The hammer and trigger show strong color cased finish. There is a light drag line between the cylinder stops. The factory blue would rate a strong 98% condition. The action is tight and works smoothly. The grips are Smith & Wesson but they do not match the frame serial number. The grips do fit perfectly. There is no box, however, there is a original parts list and instruction sheet that goes with this pistol. This is a nice condition early Chiefs Special that will go well for the shooter collector.
