Description:
This .50 caliber Hawken style rifle has a P+++ grade Quilt/Bird's Eye Maple stock and a browned octagon 7/8" x 33" barrel with 1:66 twist. The muzzle of the barrel is decorated with stars. Inscribed on the top flat is Mick centered between 6 stars. On the bottom flat is inscribed WC Young No 20 1972 Wahkon, Minnesota Cal 50. The handmade Hawken percussion lock with WC Young 1972 inscribed on the inside of the plate, is activated by handmade Hawken style double set triggers that bear the same inscription. Iron mounted with a poured pewter nose cap. Light metal engraving enhances the lock plate, hammer, toe plate, trigger guard and entry pipe. Comes with a custom made short starter. Please Note: The ramrod and short starter are made from the same piece of wood as the stock. Length of pull is 13-1/2". Good wood to metal fit - made by WC Young - Wahkon, MN. Condition: Good.
