Description:
Excellent condition seldom seen Colt Detective Special with a 3" barrel and original factory Nickel finish. The revolvers are scarce enough with 3" barrels but with a factory Nickel finish they are few and far between. This one was made in 1971 and is chambered in .38 Special. The nickel finish is all there but someone scratched some numbers into the frame above the right grip. They are not that noticable. It looks like the gun has never been fired. The action is tight with perfect timing and the bore and chambers are in excellent condition. The grips have been bruised a bit and the checkering is no longer sharp but they have no cracks or splits.
