This pistol was produced in 1943. It was issued by factory order 4711-W19-059 ORD 1451 To England 12/15/1944 for the Port Strategic Services Officer. The serial ranges are 563727 To 568864. This pistol is serial number 564687. This Colt is U.S. property marked as well as English proofed. This pistol is as new in the original box. The box contains the wrapping paper, cleaning rod and original instruction sheet all in very good condition.This pistol is unfired and still has some of the original grease in the action. The parkerizing finish is as new condition with no loss. This pistol would rate a 100% overall condition! The box is in good condition showing some wear and handling. The box is serial numbered to this pistol in three places. The Top the side and the bottom. This is a very highly collectable Colt with it's service documents. To find one of these military Colts in this condition with it's box is a real find!
