It is believed that Johann Sigott was a gunsmith of the world-famous Ferlach,    Austria Guild and that he produced his last guns by 1945, of which this is one.  (Gun appears similar to that of a Johann Peterlongo of Innsbruck, Austria.)
The gun was brought back to the USA after World War II by a US serviceman and given to my Father.  The shotgun was fired though both firing pins need to be reworked and the gun tested before use. (The above description is believed accurate though not guaranteed.)
