For sale is a Shiloh Sharps New Model 1863 SRC (Saddle-ring Carbine). 54 caliber with a 22" Carbine length barrel, marked USE BLACK POWDER ONLY. The C.Sharps Arms marked barrel and Shiloh marked receiver make it a carbine made when C.Sharps Arms was distributor for Shiloh Rifle Mfg. Probably manufactured during the 1st year that Shiloh moved from Farmingdale, NY to Big Timber, MT (1983). This carbine also has the Wolf's Head mark on the barrel flat making it a gun Wolfgang Droege, founder and CEO of Shiloh Rifle Company worked on personally. Unfired and in 99.9% condition, this would make a great addition to a Sharps Collection or a great carbine for a reenactor. This carbine ships direct to the buyer for $45.00 insured in a hard case.
