I am reducing the size of my collection and am offering several fine examples of European guns. These guns were purchased by me while stationed in Germany.
This Krieghoff Ulm Sidelock Double Rifle is a very fine example of German craftsmanship. LOP is 14.75 inches. Weight is approx. 10 lbs 7oz with the Zeiss Scope and mounts. This Model Ulm Sidelock Double Rifle has very nice deep exclusive engraving on the side locks with Red Stag on the right side, Wild Boar on the left side. Country Side fill. The Zeiss 3-12X56 Scope with lighted No. 4 reticle and Suhler Claw Mounts are in great condition. There is also a Zeiss 1.5-4.5X18 Scope with No. 2 Riticle for running game and Suhler Claw Mounts The claw mounts alow you to remove the scope for travel and it always returns to zero. Wood and Blueing are in great. Nice grain on the oiled stock with leather butt plate. There is also an engraved stock magazine for 4 rounds. The 9,3X74R is perfect for North American Game. There are NO importer’s markings anywhere on the gun.
Today's value is in excess of $ 24.000.
There are others on the internet but not many are nicer and most are considerably more expensive.
This is truely a great value for a investment or just a beautiful gun to hunt with.
This is a fine example of a Krieghoff Sidelock Double. It will definately make some collector and shooter very happy.
