Description:
Quality Consignments Wanted! 38 Colt Automatic calibre, civilian style 1902 Colt military. This Colt is a 1916 production pistol with a factory letter detailing this pistol. Pistol retains 94% of it's original blue. Bore is sharp and bright. The hard rubber grips are intact with no damage or chips. The magazine is the correct style for this pistol's time frame. The rust blued finish is very strong. The metal polish is of high quality by Colt. There is high point wear from holster carry. The action works smooth. This is a really nice example of the latter 1902 models. To find Colt's in this condition or better is a real find! These early self loading automatic pistols are really quite collectable and tells the story of the evolution of the modern Colt's such as the 1911 model. Keep in mind, the 38 Super can and will chamber in this Colt. The 38 Super is too hot of a loading for this Colt and will damage this fine pistol. You must shoot 38 Automatic ammunition only.
