This iconic machine gun has been made using a BATF approved nonfunctional receiver and original 1909 Hotchkiss parts. The receiver is marked Hotchkiss Portable Machine Gun MK I*/Patented Caliber .303. The 1909 Hotchkiss was in service from 1909 through post WWI and was used by at least 3 countries; France, Britain, and the U.S. in three different calibers; 8mm Lebel, .303 British, and 30-06. It comes with an original adjustable tripod but they were also used in tanks and airplanes. This is an impressive firearm that would be quite a conversation piece for your gunroom.
