*** SOLD *** This is a double rifle custom adapted from a Belgian Guild shotgun. It is a serious hunting gun made in a serious caliber. Cased in a fitted wood and leather case. *** Scalloped boxlock action with 75% scroll engraving coverage. It has a rib extension and cross bolt for added strength. Double triggers with front articulated. Weight without scope is 8lb 11oz. With scope the gun weighs 9lb 7oz. *** The 24” rifle barrels were sleeved onto the existing monobloc, have extractors, and they were chambered for the powerful .45-70 cartridge. Express sights at 100, 200, and 300 yards and they are accurate! Claw mounts were built onto the barrels and it comes with rings and a Leupold Vari-X II variable 1 - 4 power scope. *** Stocked in a gorgeous piece of highly figured walnut with a pistol grip, cheek piece, and splinter forearm. The pistol grip has a checkered metal cap. The checkering on the stock and forearm is in good shape but there are a few handling marks. Length of pull from front trigger is 14-7/8” over a 7/8” black rubber recoil pad. This gun was made to be taken out and actually used not just talked about. Great gun for safari or Vintager events. It is a quality double rifle in a desirable caliber at a very reasonable price. *** Buyer is responsible for all shipping, insurance and related charges.
