Description:
This rifle is built on a Danish rolling block action designed by Remington and was rebarreled in 1984 by D. Fansler.  The tapered octagonal barrel is 30-¾”, unfinished, with a great bore. The barrel is gently tapered from 1” at the receiver to ?” at the muzzle.  The front tunnel sight is set in a dovetail and the Lyman rear peep sight with windage and elevation adjustment is mounted on the receiver. The original Danish M-1867 receiver is in good condition. It has no major scratches or pitting and is developing a patina. The hammer, breech block, and screws have very little wear.  The walnut stock and forend are in very good condition as well, having no scratches or dents.  The buttstock has a raised cheek rest and a 1” rubber recoil pad.  The length of pull is 14-½”, the overall length is 48”, and the weight is 10.2 lbs. Our stock number is #A277. Willing to ship anywhere in the US, buyer pays freight and insurance.
