DWM Luger PO-8 Ser. 59XX c, Dated 1914 Cal. 9mm.
Awesome, absolutely awesome condition. Probably the nicest DWM I have ever seen. This beauty is at worst case 99+%. There is just some very slight muzzle and sharp edge silvering. There are no pits, rub marks or scratches anywhere. The grip straps are without any gray toning. The strawed parts are in the same condition 99+%.
The slide is stamped Crown/S, Crown/C, Crown/S, Upraised Eagle. All parts match.
The checkered grips are very nice condition. Neither has any chips, splits or cracks. The right panel has two large areas where the points are compressed indicating that the gun has spent a great deal of time resting on something flat. The finish on the grip screws has faded but are not marred in any way.
The interior, feed ramp, bolt face and slide rails show no wear. The bore is mirror bright, with razor sharp rifling. Not a hint of frosting to be found. There is little or no evidence that this gun has seen more than incidental use.
It comes with one correct silver bodied wood base magazine not numbered to the gun.
The condition of the magazine is the same as the gun. This gun can easily be the centerpiece for the most critical collector.......$2495.
