Description:
24 inch full octagon barrel chambered in 44 WCF with full mag and a special order shotgun butt with a steel butt plate. Basically a brown patina over all metal surfaces. Original blue remains in the protected areas and around the side plates. Sights include a blade front and sporting rear. Crisp action. Bright shiny bore with strong rifling and a few minor pits. Wood has been lightly freshened and has a few mild handling mars. This 3rd Model 1873 Winchester was made in 1882.
