WW-II war-time manufacture, 1943. 5" barrel, serialized, 9690g & Walther military acceptance stamp, eagle/359, matching to frame and slide. The left side of the slide (left to right) is marked P.38 ac/43 (ac=Walther manufacture/43=1943) with serial number, 9690g. The right side of the frame has Walther military acceptance stamps, eagle/359, on each side of the Nazi military proof stamp, eagle/swastika, all are readable. The frame is marked with serial number, 9690g, and Walther military acceptance stamp, eagle/359. The magazine with the pistol is marked with a Walther banner, P.38 and 9mm, on the left side at the bottom, and the backside is marked, 12-120-0892, then a space and, 11/62. There are no other marks on the magazine. Overall the pistol (metal and bakelite grips) are in good condition, and the bore is in good condition but has some very faint rust frost, yet still bright and shiny.
