This is a truly handsome revolver, license-built by Pirlot Bros. in Belgium, that retains 85-90% of the original lustrous rust blue finish that has flaked to spots of ruddy, plum-brown freckling within some of the scrollwork engraving on the frame, as well as along a few of the high edges and projections. The hammer is finished armory bright, and the cylinder pin retainer spring retains most of the original fire blue. The curved safety spring on the left side of the frame is no longer present, but that does not interfere with the functioning of the action, which is excellent, but the trigger return spring is a bit weak. The checkered walnut grip is in good-very good shape with scattered handling marks and small surface blemishes, some flattening of the points, and a blank German silver escutcheon on the back. This is a splendid Continental Adams revolver and rates very good-near fine condition overall. Antique SOLD Antique: Yes Manufacturer: Adams Model: Revolver Caliber Info: .44 Cal Gauge Info: .44 Cal |
