Available for purchase is this excellent example of an original Winchester Model 1903 chambered in .22 Automatic. Do not confuse this with .22LR, they are different. It appears to be in excellent mechanical condition. The bore is mint, bright and clean. Internals are also excellent with no hidden corrosion. Fire blue is still clearly evident on the bolt. Overall I would rate the original metal finish as about 70% with patina. The wood, especially the buttstock, is really nice with gorgeous grain, no cracks or repairs. The fore end has a little more wear, as you might expect. There is some old corrosion on the outside of the trigger guard. The magazine tube is steel and in great condition, fully functional with no dents or damage. Wonderful example in collectable condition that I would not hesitate to shoot (if I had some .22 Automatic ammo!) $35 shipping to the lower 48, 3% surcharge for using a CC.
