This is an all original/ correct SA Garand produced in 1942. No import marks.
Wood:
Unsanded deeply struck GHS large ordnance wheel cartouche.
Circle P on wrist.
No cracks but several dings on the lower hand guard.
Grooved clip on lower hand guard.
Perfectly matching three pieces of wood with nice grain.
Tight lock up.
Action:
Bolt: 12 SA
Trigger: 2 SA
Trigger Housing: 5 SA
Op Rod: 3 SA un cut
Gas Screw: single slot, no seal.
Sights: Type 1 lock bar.
Sling: Good condition original 1907 model sling with faint 1918 under upper sling hook.
